Hey, I'm Sean Preston

Web Developer & University Lecturer

About Me

I've been designing and developing websites for over 13 years using the latest in web technologies. I currently split my time between two positions; Lecturing undergraduate students in my role as Module Leader in advanced web application development at the University of Worcester and working as a Web Developer at one of the largest online regional news organisations in the country, Newsquest.

I have developed a range of web systems including those for the news, education, travel, events, manufacturing and e-commerce sectors.

I graduated with a first class bachelor's degree in Computing and hold an MBA in leadership and management. I'm currently working towards my PhD in computing focusing on the impact of information systems within international sharing economies.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling with my Fiancée and will often find ourselves booking a spontaneous short break. Recently we've travelled to Amsterdam, Cologne, Spain, Egypt and Turkey.

Technical Skills

My editors of choice are Atom and Sublime Text and I prefer to develop using a Linux operating system.
